WIP evil bunny costume made for a scrapped project at Lost Boys Interactive.
At the time, this project was following a painterly style art direction which involved testing various in house tools for projecting/scattering paint strokes across the meshes procedurally. I researched these tools and tested controls for dynamic stroke size, color inheritance/variation, and masking, and shared my findings with the team.
This costume was meant to be worn by an enemy during a boss fight sequence, which required modeling various damage states. I utilized a combination of UDIMs and offset UVs in the Substance Painter file in order to work with a single layer stack across all models while simultaneously duplicating bakes/texture sets across specific tiles.
